Caleb Hart is a Tobagonian-born Canadian singer, songwriter, and performer known for his fusion of reggae, soul, calypso and other Caribbean genres, a style he describes as "Island Soul." He has toured internationally, released multiple solo and collaborative projects, and gained recognition for energetic live performances and socially conscious themes. Hart has performed more than 1200 shows across North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.[1]

Hart began performing full-time in 2012 as 'Bravehart' then formed the band 'Tasman Jude', releasing their debut EP 'El Norteño' in 2013, followed up with their chart topping record 'Green' in 2014 and Award winning record 'Gold' in 2016, before going on an indefinite hiatus. Hart's first solo EP, Island Soul, was released in 2017, followed later that year by origiNation, recorded with his band The Royal Youths.[3]

Hart released his album 11 on 11 September 2019. Produced by Trinidadian producer Track7, the project spans multiple genres and features themes of identity, struggle, and resilience. According to media reports, the album surpassed 100,000 streams shortly after its release and later exceeded one million streams on Spotify.[5]

After the global pandemic halted touring and slowed output, Hart returned with multiple singles between 2021 and 2024. On 1 November 2024, he released Emancipation, his seventh studio album, produced by Jamaican-Canadian producer Jayden Brown. The album blends reggae, soul, and modern Caribbean production elements.[6]
