Timothy J. Bilecki is an attorney, former officer in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, and founder and Managing Attorney of Bilecki Law Group, PLLC, in Tampa, Florida. He represents United States service members in courts-martial, military investigations, administrative separation proceedings, and other matters arising under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. His legal practice includes representation at military installations throughout the United States and overseas.[1]
Before entering private practice, Bilecki served as an Army judge advocate. The official Congressional Record identifies Timothy J. Bilecki for promotion to major in March 2010.[2] His military background has contributed to his work representing accused service members and has given him experience with the investigative, command, and trial procedures involved in military criminal cases.
Bilecki earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College in 1999, a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2002, and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College in 2022.[3] The Babson College commencement program identifies him as graduating summa cum laude.[3] The Florida Bar admitted Bilecki on 31 October 2002 and currently lists him as a member in good standing who is eligible to practice law.[1]
Bilecki appears in the 2015 documentary short Last Line of Defense alongside attorney Noel Tipon. IMDb records a United States release date of 9 February 2015, a running time of 24 minutes, and Celebrity Films as the production company. Directed by Nick Nanton, the documentary features Bilecki and Tipon as hosts discussing the defense of service members within the military justice system.
