He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HostOrient, a Bangladesh-based BDIX-connected web hosting and cloud service provider, and the founder and chairman of Extent Technologies Limited, a technology infrastructure company.
Early life and education
MD Abu Bakkar was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He completed his early education at Rajnagar Ideal High School and later attended Imperial College Moulvibazar. From an early age, he showed an interest in technology, business, and digital entrepreneurship.
Career
Abu Bakkar began his career in the technology sector, focusing on digital infrastructure and web hosting solutions. He founded HostOrient, which provides web hosting, cloud services, and domain solutions, particularly serving the Bangladeshi market.
He also established Extent Technologies Limited, a company involved in developing technology infrastructure and digital services. Under his leadership, both organizations have contributed to expanding accessible hosting and cloud solutions in emerging markets.
