Charles Henry Dow

Charles Henry Dow (November 6, 1851 – December 4, 1902) was an American journalist who founded Dow Jones & Company and The Wall Street Journal.[1]

Dow did not complete high school. He saw the need for an index to track activity on the New York Stock Exchange. He also developed the Dow Theory.
