She is recognized for building her company into a national retail brand, with products featured in major outlets such as Macy’s, Walmart, and Target. Rose was included in the Forbes Next 1000 list of inspiring entrepreneurs in 2021.[1]

Career

Bella Rose began her career in the beauty industry as a professional makeup artist, building a roster of celebrity clients and later appearing on The Steve Harvey Show. In 2011, she launched Bella Rose Passion from her dining room, initially as a cosmetic lip gloss brand. The business evolved into an organic skincare and wellness brand after the success of her product Unicorn Shea Butter, which became a customer favorite.[2]

The brand gained national visibility after being featured in Martha Stewart’s Must-Haves, which led to retail placement in Macy’s, Walmart, and Target. In 2021, Rose signed a partnership with Target shortly after undergoing spinal surgery. Her business achievements include receiving Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business certifications.[3]

In September 2025, a private equity firm acquired a percentage of Bella Rose Passion. Rose retained a minority stake and continues to serve as the company’s CEO.[4]

Later ventures

Following the growth of Bella Rose Passion, Rose launched a new venture, Elevations by Bella Rose, focusing on brand strategy, identity development, and content related to healthy living and travel.[5]

Advocacy and philanthropy

Rose has been active in raising awareness about health issues, particularly supporting the Atlanta Brain Aneurysm Foundation, inspired by her mother’s survival of a brain aneurysm and stroke.[6]
