He was born on January 24, 1980, and raised in Boykins, Virginia. He attended Southampton High School before pursuing higher education at Virginia State University. He later continued his studies at the Florida Institute of Technology, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and Florida State University.

Military Career

Person served as an officer in the United States Army for more than two decades, leading complex organizations across the Department of Defense.
