Abbas Sajwani is an Emirati entrepreneur and real estate developer. He is the founder and chief executive officer of AHS Properties, a Dubai-based real estate development company specializing in luxury residential and commercial properties. He is the son of Emirati businessman and DAMAC Properties founder Hussain Sajwani.[1]
Early life and education
Sajwani was born in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He grew up in a family involved in business and real estate and was exposed to the property industry from an early age.
Sajwani attended the American University in Dubai, where he studied finance and graduated in 2021.[2]
Career
Sajwani began his entrepreneurial activities as a teenager. Before entering luxury real estate, he was involved in several business ventures, including an internet café and a car-wash business. He also invested in financial markets.
In 2017, Sajwani founded AHS Group, an investment and business group involved in several sectors. He subsequently established AHS Properties as the group's real estate development business.[3]
AHS Properties
In 2021, Sajwani founded AHS Properties, a Dubai-based real estate developer focused on luxury residential and commercial developments. The company initially acquired and redeveloped luxury properties in areas including Emirates Hills and Palm Jumeirah.
AHS Properties later expanded its development portfolio to include large-scale projects in Dubai. Its developments include One Canal on the Dubai Water Canal, One Crescent on Palm Jumeirah, and Casa Canal on the Dubai Water Canal. The company has also developed commercial properties, including AHS Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road.
In 2025, AHS Properties acquired the skyscraper formerly known as Al Yaqoub Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road and subsequently rebranded it as AHS Tower.
As of 2026, Forbes Middle East reported that AHS Properties had a portfolio exceeding 929,000 square metres of built space and a gross development value of more than US$10 billion across more than 12 projects.
Sajwani has also served as a board member of DAMAC Group.[4]
Recognition
In 2024, Sajwani was included in the Forbes Middle East 30 Under 30 list in the Commerce & Finance category. The publication identified him as the founder and CEO of AHS Properties.
In 2024, Entrepreneur Middle East included Sajwani in its The 100 list.
In 2026, Forbes Middle East ranked Sajwani 54th on its Most Impactful Real Estate Leaders list.
Forbes reported a net worth of approximately US$1.9 billion for Sajwani in 2026.[5]
Family
Sajwani is the son of businessman Hussain Sajwani, the founder of DAMAC Properties. His siblings include Ali Sajwani and Amira Sajwani, who have also been involved in businesses associated with the Sajwani family.
