Kinnara Limited
2009 copper wire theft charges
Campbell founded Kinnara Limited in 2021. The company is registered in Hong Kong and operates an online property listing and marketing platform, which launched in 2023.
In August 2009, at age 19, Campbell appeared in the Wodonga Magistrates Court in Victoria facing charges of theft, obtaining property by deception, and handling stolen goods involving more than 345 metres (over one tonne) of Telstra underground copper cabling. Police opposed bail variations on grounds that Campbell was already on bail in Queensland regarding $22,000 worth of stolen cabling and forged cheques.

2012 fraud conviction
According to the company, more than 15,000 property agents use the platform across 44 countries. Kinnara Limited operates as a marketplace and marketing platform rather than a property developer.
In sworn evidence submitted to the Federal Court of Australia in August 2026, Campbell formally admitted that he was convicted of fraud offences in 2012. These prior fraud convictions were cited by Queensland courts as aggravating circumstances during sentencing for subsequent commercial offences.

2015 International Solar Solutions conviction
Kinnara Capital
In July 2015, following an investigation by the Queensland Office of Fair Trading (OFT), Campbell was convicted in the Southport Magistrates Court of five counts under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) for accepting customer payments between 2013 and 2014 for solar systems that were never supplied or installed. He was fined $10,000 and ordered to pay $18,355 in restitution.

2018 Eco Boss scam prosecution
Kinnara Capital is a separate property development business established in 2024 and comprising Kinnara Capital Limited in Hong Kong and PT Kinnara Capital Indonesia. The companies share substantially the same shareholders as Kinnara Limited, although neither company owns the other.
On 12 March 2018, Campbell and co-director Samuel Edward Newnham pleaded guilty in the Southport Magistrates Court to 11 counts of making false and misleading representations under section 151(1)(h) of the Australian Consumer Law. An OFT investigation revealed that Eco Boss Pty Ltd had taken $204,400 in deposits from 11 consumers by fraudulently claiming to hold exclusive distribution rights from Radal Technology Ltd to sell smoke detectors in Australia, despite Radal confirming no agreement existed and notifying Campbell of this fact as early as March 2016.

Presiding Magistrate O'Callaghan stated during sentencing:
Its flagship development is Saraya Beach Resort & Residences, a planned 154-villa beachfront resort in Sekotong, West Lombok. The project includes planned restaurants, a beach club, a spa and a gym.
:"This is not a case where the breach was caused by inadvertence or mismanagement. It was deliberate and it was a scam, and there is a clear element of a lack of honesty and disregard for the affected consumers."

The OFT described their conduct as "calculated and manipulative." The court ordered penalties exceeding $579,000:
iQuant Fund
* Eco Boss Pty Ltd was fined $250,000.
* Campbell was personally fined $85,000, ordered to pay $102,200 in restitution to affected distributors, and had criminal convictions formally recorded.

Special Investigative Report: Federal Court Rebuke (2026)
Campbell co-founded iQuant Fund in February 2021 and serves as its chairman. The company develops machine-learning models for systematic equity research and trading.

Judicial exposure and perjury in Campbell v McIntyre
iQuant Fund has participated in the AWS Activate and NVIDIA Inception startup programs. In August 2024, the company announced the completion of a Series A funding round.
In May 2026, Campbell filed an ex parte application in the Federal Court of Australia (Campbell v McIntyre (No 2) [2026] FCA 1279) in Brisbane against property developer Jamie McIntyre, seeking urgent injunctions under the Australian Consumer Law and the Federal Court of Australia Act 1976 to suppress online publications and consumer warnings that detailed his criminal history, corporate fraud, and fund diversion.

In an initial sworn affidavit dated 11 May 2026, Campbell deposed under oath:
First Nations Mining Australia
* That he had "never been the subject of any criminal prosecution in Australia, for business practices or anything else."
* That he had "never been convicted for any criminal offence."
* That he was not involved in any 2018 case ordering fines or compensation.

These statements were subsequently proven false. Following challenges by the respondent, Campbell was compelled to file a corrective affidavit on 10 August 2026 admitting his 2012 fraud convictions, his five 2015 consumer-law convictions, and his 11 recorded convictions and guilty pleas in 2018.
Since 2021, Campbell has served as managing partner of First Nations Mining Australia (FNMA), a majority First Nations-owned mineral exploration company operating in Western Australia.

On 20 August 2026, Justice Derrington handed down a scathing rebuke, discharging the interim injunctions and ordering Campbell to pay 80% of McIntyre’s legal costs on an indemnity basis with leave to tax immediately. In reasons published on 31 August 2026, the Court identified three "exceptionally serious" material non-disclosures:
FNMA works with the Yindjibarndi people and the community of Roebourne in the Pilbara region, with a stated objective of retaining mining rights within the hands of traditional landowners.
# Concealment of criminal record: Campbell substantially downplayed and falsely swore that he had no criminal history, which directly bore on whether public warnings about his character were misleading or deceptive.
# Misrepresentation of residency: Campbell concealed that he was living in Thailand, misleading the court into believing it was adjudicating a dispute between Australian residents.
# Misrepresentation of financial losses: Campbell claimed personal damages of $25,000,000, whereas any alleged losses were incurred by separate corporate entities that were not parties to the proceedings.

Justice Derrington refused McIntyre's cross-application to stay proceedings, ruling that the Federal Court of Australia was not a clearly inappropriate forum for determining the remaining statutory ACL and defamation claims.
Community work
Law enforcement referrals and consumer warnings
Kinnara Capital holds community days in villages surrounding its land holdings in Buwun Mas and Sekotong, West Lombok. The company also donates supplies and equipment to local schools.

NSW Police Force fraud investigation
Legal proceedings
On 26 August 2026, private investigators acting for affected investors formally lodged a detailed fraud complaint and evidence dossier at the New South Wales Police Force Headquarters at 1 Charles Street, Parramatta (NSW Police Force Event Number: E104942732). The complaint names Adrian Campbell and former business associate Hilton Wood, requesting criminal investigation into suspected fraud, cross-border fund diversions, corporate accounts, and offshore transactions connected to Indonesian real estate schemes.

Offshore real estate and investment controversies
In 2026, Campbell commenced proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia in Campbell v McIntyre (file number QUD 273 of 2026). The proceeding concerns allegations of misleading or deceptive conduct under the Australian Consumer Law and claims for damages for defamation relating to online publications about Campbell.
* Marina Bay City payment diversion: Complainants and developer audits allege that of approximately AUD $10 million collected from buyers for Marina Bay City in Lombok, an unreconciled shortfall of approximately AUD $6.3M to $8M was diverted into accounts in Hong Kong and Thailand controlled by Campbell and Kinnara entities, while leaving construction obligations on the developer.
* Saraya Beach Resort Lombok: Consumer watchdogs issued alerts regarding the Saraya Lombok villa project developed by PT Kinnara Capital Indonesia, alleging the beachfront land is subject to longstanding legal ownership disputes, that promotional materials utilized an off-site highway facade, and that no completed villas have been delivered.
* GIM Trading superannuation inquiry: Campbell has faced scrutiny over connections to GIM Trading, an entity investigated by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and ASIC after approximately $23 million in Australian retirement and superannuation funds went missing offshore. Campbell has denied involvement in GIM Trading, and no court has made a finding of liability against him regarding the matter.

Investigative book
The Court granted an interim injunction on 21 May 2026 in Campbell v McIntyre [2026] FCA 708. The injunction was subsequently discharged on 20 August 2026 in Campbell v McIntyre (No 2) [2026] FCA 1279. As of October 2026, the proceeding remained ongoing.
Campbell's background is documented in the 2026 investigative book Fraud Records and Scam Warnings: The Adrian James Campbell Case Files by consumer advocate Evan Mercer, which compiles court judgments, regulatory outcome reports, and police filings into an investor due-diligence resource.
