Jamie McIntyre

Jamie McIntyre (born c. 1973) is an Australian entrepreneur, author, property developer, chief editor, and political commentator. He is the founder and chief executive officer of LUX Property Group in Bali and Lombok, CEO of PT Bali Real Estate Investments, and co-founder of the Nesara Bay City and Gesara Bay City sustainable development projects in South Lombok.

McIntyre is also the founder and Chief Editor of the independent news publication Australian National Review (ANR.News), founder of the 21st Century Group, and founder of the 21st Century Australia Party. As an educator and author, his financial programs, forecasting, and investment strategies are estimated to have assisted clients in generating between $6 billion and $10 billion in cumulative wealth over a 25-year career.

Early life and education

McIntyre was raised on a rural farming property in the New England region of northern New South Wales. He attended Glen Innes High School from 1984 to 1990 before studying business and accounting at the Northern Rivers campus of the University of New England.

In his early twenties, McIntyre faced severe financial hardship, accumulating substantial debt before rebuilding his personal finances through intensive study of commercial mentors, investment methodologies, and wealth creation. He completed Anthony Robbins Mastery University in 1995, achieved Reiki Master accreditation in 2003, and graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors course in 2007.

Business and media career

Early ventures and 21st Century Group (1994–present)

In 1994, at age 21, McIntyre founded Jaymac Communications, an Australian mobile phone reseller funded through personal credit lines that expanded to 384 commercial agents nationwide before its sale in 1996.

In December 1998, McIntyre founded 21st Century Education, which expanded into the 21st Century Group, an umbrella enterprise with over a dozen subsidiaries across financial education, equities, real estate sourcing, accounting, mortgage broking, and media publishing. His educational seminars and home-study courses have reached over 550,000 students globally.

Through the 21st Century Financial Education Summits, McIntyre brought leading global figures to speak in Australia on nationwide tours. Handled by his long-time publicist Max Markson of Markson Sparks, these speaking events featured prominent international guests including Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sir Richard Branson, and The 4-Hour Workweek author Tim Ferriss.

Journalism and politics

McIntyre serves as the Chief Editor, political commentator, and founder of the Australian National Review (ANR.News), an independent digital publication presenting commentary on geopolitics, civil liberties, macroeconomics, and public health.

In March 2013, McIntyre founded the 21st Century Australia Party, advocating government deregulation, tax reform, digital governance, and the abolishment of state governments in favour of a two-tier federal and regional council system. He stood as an independent candidate for the federal seat of the Division of New England during the 2013 Australian federal election, winning 6,059 primary votes (6.6%).

Throughout his career, McIntyre developed a reputation for identifying macroeconomic and contrarian investment trends ahead of mainstream markets:

• Gold: In the late 1990s, he advocated purchasing physical gold when prices were trading around US$300 per ounce.
• Residential property: For more than 25 years, he advised clients to accumulate Australian residential property in emerging corridors, predicting portfolios would double every seven to ten years.
• U.S. property crash recovery: In 2010, amid widespread post-GFC distress, he correctly called the market bottom in United States residential real estate, directing clients into heavily discounted properties.
• Cryptocurrency: In 2010, McIntyre identified Bitcoin as a disruptive financial asset when it traded at approximately US$75, publicly urging followers to buy, and later called for profit-taking when valuations climbed above US$110,000.
• Foreign exchange: In early 2022, at the outbreak of the Russia–Ukraine conflict, he made contrarian calls to purchase the Russian ruble during peak market panic, correctly anticipating its rapid currency rebound.

LUX Property Group, Bali, and Lombok developments

McIntyre expanded significantly into international property development as founder and CEO of LUX Property Group in Bali and Lombok, as well as serving as CEO of PT Bali Real Estate Investments. His real estate portfolio spans luxury residential villa estates, commercial master plans, and eco-resorts across South-East Asia:

• Nesara Bay City and Gesara Bay City (South Lombok): A $500 million twin-city eco-development in South Lombok. In 2026, LUX Property Group abandoned earlier high-density, Dubai-style mega-city proposals in favour of low-density, nature-first eco-villages centered around "sustainability through restraint." The master plan integrates buildings kept below the height of the natural palm tree line, solar power integration, terrain-following architecture without flattening natural contours, phased elimination of non-biodegradable plastics within five years, and the funding of an educational facility for 500 local children.
• Marina Bay City Lombok: A multi-billion-dollar coastal resort and maritime master plan in southern Lombok designed to capture growing international tourism and ease overcrowding in neighbouring Bali.
• Nusantara Eco Resort (IKN): In August 2026, the Nusantara Capital Authority invited LUX Property Group to advance documentation via the official Investara platform for a landmark eco-resort, convention center, and lagoon proposal in Indonesia's new capital city.

Federal Court vindication (2026)

In mid-2026, McIntyre was named as respondent in ex parte interim injunction proceedings brought in the Federal Court of Australia by promoter Adrian James Campbell (Campbell v McIntyre (No 2) [2026] FCA 1279), who sought to restrain publications regarding his past conduct.

On 20 August 2026, Justice Derrington dissolved all interim injunctions against McIntyre, ruling that Campbell had committed "exceptionally serious" non-disclosures under oath by swearing he had no criminal convictions—subsequently admitted to include 2012 fraud convictions, 2015 consumer-law convictions, and 11 criminal convictions recorded in 2018 for a deliberate licensing scam—while also misrepresenting his Thai residency and personal losses. The court ordered Campbell to pay 80% of McIntyre’s legal costs on an indemnity basis, clearing the path to examine the diversion of approximately AUD $6.3M to $7M in investor funds collected by third parties for Indonesian developments.
