Davi Wornel (born May 3, 1979) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer, and producer from Reggio Calabria, Italy. He is known for his work across multiple musical genres, including Latin American Christian music, gospel, pop, soul, rock, and Latin music.

Early life and education

Davi Wornel was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy. During his childhood, he participated in the musical Il Ballo del Qua Qua, associated with Italian performers Al Bano and Romina Power. The following year, he attended a modern dance course led by Federica Ferrari, founder of the National Dance Academy in Rome.[1]

Wornel later moved to Rome, where he pursued formal music studies. He also trained in vocal performance under Elizabeth Sabine, a vocal coach known for working with artists such as Axl Rose, Dave Mustaine, and Michael Sweet.

Career

Wornel began his musical journey within the Latin American Christian music scene and gospel music. Over time, he expanded his artistic range to include pop, soul, rock, and Latin music.

He has performed songs written by renowned composers such as Juan Gabriel, Emilio Estefan, and Kike Santander.

Collaborations

Throughout his career, Wornel has collaborated with several international artists, including Claude McKnight of Take 6, Ivana Spagna, Lucía Méndez, John Schlitt of Petra, and Kim Keyes.
