SoberGenZ
Founding
Stumpf founded SoberGenZ after his closest friend required emergency medical attention following a night of heavy drinking in Barcelona. The incident led him to conclude that existing prevention programmes were failing young people and that a fundamentally different approach was needed.
Philosophy
SoberGenZ operates on the principle of prevention through understanding, not through fear — replacing authority-driven warnings with neuroscience education that equips young people to make informed decisions about substances and brain health.
Reach
As of 2026, SoberGenZ has reached over 16,000 young people across more than 18 schools in four countries: Spain, Bulgaria, Germany, and Colombia. The organisation holds an official partnership with CSKA Judo Sofia.
Athletics
Stumpf competed in judo at a competitive level, winning a championship in Bulgaria. He also played varsity basketball at the American School of Barcelona.
