Noyan Nihat

Noyan Nihat (born 2 July 1969) is a British fintech executive, business consultant, entrepreneur, and regulatory advocate. He has over 25 years of experience in banking, global payments, and financial technology. He is currently the Co-Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Cardaq.

Early life and education

Nihat was born in London, United Kingdom. He is a British national.

He studied at Mill High School and later earned a Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Direct Marketing.

Career

Nihat has worked across traditional banking and the fintech industry, focusing on digital payments, cross-border transactions, and regulatory compliance.

He has held senior roles in financial services companies including Privat 3 Money Ltd and Transactive Solutions Ltd.

He is currently Co-CEO and Executive Director of Cardaq, a global payments and acquiring company. In this role, he works on electronic money institutions, merchant acquiring, and international payment systems.

He also runs Noyan Nihat Consulting, advising on fintech strategy, regulation, and financial technology innovation.
