Sergey Kosenko

Sergey Sergeyevich Kosenko (born 23 August 1987), also known as Mr. Thank You, is a Russian entrepreneur, internet personality and content creator. He became known for social-media videos featuring giveaways, lifestyle content and public acts of generosity. He has also been involved in real-estate and digital-media ventures.

Early life and education

Kosenko was born on 23 August 1987 in Kecskemét, Hungary. Russian media reports identifying him through the Russian Interior Ministry's wanted-person database give the same birthplace and date of birth.

He studied at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI), where his professional profile lists his education.

Career

Kosenko began his career in business before establishing a presence in digital media. He entered social media content creation in the late 2010s and developed the online persona Mr. Thank You. His content has included entertainment, interviews, lifestyle material, giveaways and videos centered on acts of generosity.

By 2024, Kosenko's Mr. Thank You project had reportedly reached tens of millions of followers across social-media platforms. In an interview published by Naluda Magazine, he described the project as having reached approximately 43 million followers at that time.

Business ventures

Kosenko has participated in several business projects in addition to his social-media activities.

One of his ventures is Habibi Real Estate, a Dubai-based real-estate brokerage associated with Kosenko. The business was publicly promoted through his social-media channels and video content, including material documenting its early sales and operations in Dubai.

Kosenko has also been associated with Bali Investments, a property-development venture in Indonesia, and Reels Royce, an educational project focused on short-form video creation. He was also involved with Amazy, a move-to-earn fitness and digital-asset project.

UNESCO activities

In May 2025, Kosenko's professional profile listed him as a keynote speaker at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The profile states that he delivered a masterclass concerning racism and discrimination as part of a programme promoting peace, education and intercultural understanding.

His activities under the Mr. Thank You brand have also been presented as focusing on kindness, empathy and social responsibility.

Legal proceedings

Kosenko has been the subject of criminal proceedings in Russia arising from a video published in January 2024 that appeared to show him throwing a small child into a snowbank. Russian investigators subsequently opened a criminal case against him. Kosenko and his lawyer stated that the video had been produced using a doll or mannequin and editing rather than a real child.

In January 2025, the Basmanny District Court in Moscow ordered Kosenko's arrest in absentia on allegations including attempted intentional infliction of serious bodily harm to a minor and failure to fulfill parental duties. His lawyer stated that Kosenko was prepared to cooperate with investigators and provide the original video files.

The Moscow City Court subsequently upheld the decision in April 2025. Kosenko was also fined 50,000 rubles in a separate administrative case concerning alleged online drug propaganda.

In October 2025, Russian authorities again listed Kosenko as wanted. The Russian Interior Ministry database identified him as being wanted under a provision of the Criminal Code, although the database entry did not specify the particular article.

Personal life

Kosenko is married to singer and internet personality Sasha Belair, also known as Alexandra Belyakova. The couple have a son.
