==Micronauts==
Space Glider was a character in the ''Micronauts'' series. The depiction of Space Glider has varied vastly from one fictional setting to another.

===Development===
Space Glider was released by Mego in several colors in 1976. He was also released by Gig and Pin Pin Toys.

According to Bryan Wilkinson on Facebook, one concept considered by Palisades Toys for Space Gliders was including stickers which would denote if he was the captain of a [[Battle Cruiser (Micronauts)|Battle Cruiser]] or [[Mobile Exploration Lab]].

In 2002 Palisades toy released Space Glider in new colors.

Concept art for a new version of Space Glider was done by Dave Waugh as part of Palisades wave 3, although the figure was never produced.<REF>https://rockettubes.livejournal.com/118924.html</REF>

In late 2004 ''Micronauts'' was licensed to SOTA Toys to make ''Micronauts''. They planned to produce a line of stylized 6 inch figures under the name ''Micronauts Evolution'', including a Space Glider. A hand painted prototype of Space Glider was displayed at Toy Fair New York City 2005, but because of legal issues with Takara the toys were delayed and never released.<REF>http://www.innerspaceonline.com/jm.htm</REF>

In 2007 Hasbro released the Hasbro Revolution box set. This set included a tiny female Space Glider figure.

In 2018 several parts for Space Glider were released on [[Shapeways]] by [[Mathew Robert Ignash]].
