CarReg UK was founded in 1988 by Jason Wilkes in [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolverhampton Wolverhampton], West Midlands. It began operations as ''Personally Your Registrations'' (PYR) with the goal of simplifying the process of purchasing personalised and private number plates. Later on in 1990, PYR rebranded as ''CarReg UK''.<br />

During COVID in 2020 the company recorded huge sales of personalised numbers.
